Help this single mom help her kids

I am a single mother of 2 wonderful kids.  My 15 year old suffers from bipolar disorder.  My 9 yr old is all boy.  I applied for SSI and recieved it.  The extra 500-600 dollars a month is sure gonna help.....

At least that is what I though.  It took 9 months to get approved.  Then I find out some new information.  The back pay is only for medical needs or education.  Medicaid pays most of the medical expenses.  She needs to be in school but the anxiety prevents this.  Now they say I make too much money to get food stamps anymore.  There goes 138 dollars towards food.  Then they say I make too much for the Section 8 assistance,  well not exactly too much.  They were helping with 342 dollars a month with rental assistance which was dropped to 27 dollars a month.  Needless to say the 500-600 dollars a month extra ended up costing me almost as much in losses..  So we appealed and were approved and technically now I am lucky to have an extra 30 to 130 dollars a month to help.

I am working full time with a decent job but I only make around 1200 a month bring home.  We struggle alot.

I work hard, but its wearing me out fast.  There is so much and no dad to help.  He says he will but never does.  You know how that is.  He does love his kids but not enough to work hard and help support them.  Take him to court and he will never even call his kids so I struggle.  I want them to know their father.  I want them to talk to him so I don't push the issue.  He live a very long way away so they don't get to see him often as it is.  Once in the past 3 years.  So I struggle.

I would love to be able to give my children more.  I give them all I can but I am tired ALOT.  So I struggle.
